可惜，因为哈利伯顿的受伤，步行者上赛季的方向完全改变，他们从争冠走向了重建，队史第一次摆烂，整个赛季只赢了19场比赛。
值得一提的是，步行者原本抽中了5号签，但因为在和快船关于祖巴茨的交易里送走了前四保护首轮签，所以这个5号签最终送给了快船——这笔交易应该还有很多人记得，至今有很大争议，相当于步行者一个赛季的烂白摆了。
